PRIOR CITY COUNCIL ACTION:

During the July 22, 2025, Council Meeting, Council instructed staff to research facility rental agreements and associated fees for the newly purchased Cibolo Community Center. 

BACKGROUND:

On August 12, 2025, Council directed staff to develop a rental agreement to include the following points:

• Operational Hours
• Rental Hours
• Associated Fees 
• Alcohol Policy 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

City staff recommends approval of the proposed rental agreement and associated fees for the Cibolo Community Center. 

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

Proposed Resident Rates (see exhibit A)

• $50 per hour (2-hour minimum, Mon–Thurs)

• $75 per hour (4-hour minimum, Fri–Sun)

• $500 full day (7:00 AM – 11:00 PM)

Proposed Non-Resident Rates (see exhibit A)

• $75 per hour (2-hour minimum, Mon–Thurs)

• $100 per hour (4-hour minimum, Fri–Sun)

• $750 full day (7:00 AM – 11:00 PM)

• 10% discount for Military and Seniors
